"Hi, my name is Lisa and I live in North Wales. Following the loss of my dog in January 2021, I spotted Jack on Broken Halo Outreach. He was in Romania, but ready to travel. Broken Halo were really helpful through the home check process, and sent me photos of Jack as he began his journey to me. He needed to spend a few days in kennels upon arrival in the UK, but Broken Halo then arranged for his transport to me. They were so informative the entire time, letting us know exactly what we did and what we needed to do. They say they will be there for us if we ever need them in Mickeys life and I truly believe they will! If you were to use any rescue service then please use Broken Halo! "I adopted Nero from Broken Halo Rescue only just over 2 weeks ago. The whole process was so organised, from the adoption process, to the travel, the updates and even now the continued support. "We reserved Violet in January (I think) knowing she was coming in March. We got regular updates on her & her siblings, including what their demeanour was like. Broken Halo didn't take any adoption fee until the week before travel; given the cost of transport from Spain, the adoption fee we paid was minimal. We have had Violet for 6 months & still have frequent contact with BH & the owners of the other siblings. We are even planning a first birthday photo collage!! "We rescued our gorgeous girl from broken halo and although she has only been with us 3 months she has completed our family after loosing our Great Dane 2 years ago. She has got on with our resident dog is not fazed by the neighbours cat and is brilliant with children. With any puppy you have to expect accidents in the house, chewing and general puppy behaviour. These dogs can come with issues as the rescues don’t know their history but if you are prepared to put the work in you will have an amazing companion. The Halo team were amazing from start to finish and always informed us what was happening and lots of updates on pups journey. I would use them again and would recommended anyone looking to rescue a dog." AN

"We recently adopted a 4 month old puppy, we’ve had unlimited support from BH from the moment we were accepted and even after our puppy was delivered to our door, I can honestly say it feels like joining a family rather than just speaking to a rescue centre. Our puppy is a dream, she’s loving, playful and well mannered, she adores people, she’s toilet trained, vaccinated and chipped, so much more than we would have had if we had purchased a pet from a breeder.
